According to the National Library of Medicine*, cocoa, a main ingredient in this recipe, contains theobromine, a compound similar to caffeine. Theobromine, along with caffeine, may offer various health benefits without the side effects associated with caffeine alone. These compounds work by blocking adenosine receptors and inhibiting phosphodiesterases, potentially providing a range of positive effects.

While further research is needed to fully understand the health benefits of cocoa consumption, combining it with your daily coffee could give you that extra boost of pleasure and a touch of well-being.

Enjoy! ☕🍫✨
